Dear Ocumetics Team, Partners and Stakeholders,

I am thrilled to share an exciting update in our journey to revolutionize vision correction technology. Last week, we proudly announced, in a separate press release, the commencement of manufacturing for the Ocumetics accommodating intraocular lens (IOL). This is not just a milestone for our corporation, but a significant leap forward in eye care.

Our collaboration with Bioana, a leader in medical device design and manufacturing, marks a pivotal moment in our mission. Bioana’s state-of-the-art facilities and unmatched expertise make them the ideal partner for bringing our innovative lenses to life. Their commitment to excellence mirrors our own, and together, we are poised to set new standards in vision enhancement.

The Ocumetics accommodating IOL is designed to provide excellent visual acuity across all distances, addressing both near and far vision with great clarity. Our journey towards this groundbreaking development has been driven by a clear company vision: to create a lens that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of patients and eye care professionals alike. The initial production run of these lenses is a crucial step as we prepare for the upcoming first-in-human clinical study in the Dominican Republic. This study will provide us with essential data on the safety and efficacy of our lenses, guiding us as we navigate the regulatory landscape to bring this product to market.

I want to extend my deepest appreciation to Adriana Torres, COO and Chief Engineer at Bioana, and her exceptional team. Their enthusiasm and dedication to this project have been instrumental in reaching this milestone. We are honored to have Bioana as our manufacturing partner, and I am confident that their expertise will ensure the highest standards of quality and precision in producing our lenses.

In closing, let us celebrate this remarkable achievement and look forward to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. Together, we are redefining the future of eye care, and I am honored to be on this journey with all of you.

Thank you for your dedication and support.

Warm regards,

Dean Burns
